For these reasons, we have created the following privacy policy. It confirms our dedication to protecting your privacy and maintaining the trust you have placed in Twin City Dwyer Printing. This policy is your assurance that the Management, Sales, Accounting, Warehouse and other employees of Twin City Dwyer Printing will maintain the confidentiality and privacy of any personal information you have entrusted to us.
From January 1, 2004, all businesses engaged in commercial activities must comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and the Canadian Standards Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, which it incorporates. The Act gives you rights concerning the privacy of your personal information.
What Personal Information do we collect?
All information we collect relates directly to our production process. We only use information for the proper operation of printing, record keeping, accounting and maintaining internal communications.
Use and Retention of your Information
Twin City Dwyer Printing does not use personal information for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected. We retain personal information for the fulfillment of the purposes for which it was originally collected.
Disclosure of your Personal Information
Twin City Dwyer Printing does not trade, sell, or otherwise disclose its customer lists or any other personal information to third parties. Our data base is never shared with anyone outside of our production and accounting environments.
Is my Personal Information secure?
Twin City Dwyer Printing Co. Ltd. takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal information is kept safe from loss, unauthorized access or unauthorized disclosure. Among these steps taken to protect your information are:
- premises security
- shredding of discarded information
- secure filing cabinets
- internal password and security policies (only authorized staff can access your personal information)
Collection of Information
Twin City Dwyer Printing Co. Ltd. is the sole owner of all information collected from our customers. Information may be collected during different stages such as when placing orders, submitting quote requests and requesting samples. As a printer, we provide fulfillment services for some of our clients. Any information that we are given by our customer is used only in the context of the specific order/job that we are working on. As a commercial printer, Twin City Dwyer Printing Co. Ltd. does not collect "private" information from our clients beyond what we need for our basic accounting purposes (i.e. invoicing) and production purposes (i.e. delivery/mailing information).
